What is Our Mission?

The Noble County Community Foundation provides opportunities for residents and others to make charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and to benefit activities occurring within the county and region. The Noble County Community Foundation will become the recognized leader in gathering and sharing resources that benefit the community.

Why is the Foundation needed?

The Noble County Community Foundation was founded in January 2005 as a public charitable foundation to provide opportunity for residents and others to make charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and benefit activities occurring in the county and the region. We are building a permanent endowment that will be used to support a variety of charitable programs to address the current and changing needs of local residents.

Applications open for NCCF Scholarship and Winter Funding Round

Applications are now being accepted for the NCCF Scholarship and for the regular winter round of funding. Applications can be found on the NCCF website at www.nccfohio.org and both scholarship and regular funding round applications are due by 4:30 pm Monday, January 11, 2016 and can be returned to the Noble County Extension office at 46049 Marietta Road, Suite 2, Caldwell, OH 43724
The NCCF is now ready to begin to make its seventh round of awards from the program.. The NCCF will be awarding two $750 scholarships, one to a Shenandoah graduate and a second to a Caldwell graduate.
Although high school seniors will be eligible to apply, preference will be given to existing college students, including graduate/professional students.
The NCCF is also accepting applications for its winter 2016 regular funding round. Up to $1000 will be awarded in this round with no single project receiving more than $500.

Farmers and Merchants Bank Provides Funds to Community Foundation

The Farmers and Merchants Bank has made a $1,000 grant to the Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) to support its general and scholarship funds.
“The NCCF appreciates the ongoing support of Farmers and Merchants Bank in helping the community foundation continue to grow and to provide support to local non-profits and to deserving college students. Farmers and Merchants has been and continues to be a strong supporter of the NCCF.” said Mike Lloyd, NCCF Secretary.
The NCCF has awarded nearly $15,000 in grants to a variety of local groups since its founding in 2005.In addition the NCCF and related scholarships have made awards to nearly 50 local students since the early 1990’s.
Presenting the donation to the NCCF are from the left, John Cline, Bob Parks and Mike Buckey. John Cline and Mike Buckey are members of the Farmers and Merchants Board of Directors and are also directors of the NCCF while Bob Parks is President of The Farmers and Merchants Bank of Caldwell.

Noble County Community Foundation Receives Grant from AEP Ohio.

The Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) was the recipient of a $1,000 grant from American Electric Power (AEP).This is the second grant that the NCCF has received from AEP.
This grant will continue AEP’s sponsorship of the NCCF web site at www.nccfohio.org. The web site contains information on the history of the NCCF, news and events of the organization, information on various types of gifts that can be made to the NCCF, grant and scholarship application forms, and finally a section with various frequently asked questions and answers about the organization.
