What is Our Mission?

The Noble County Community Foundation provides opportunities for residents and others to make charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and to benefit activities occurring within the county and region. The Noble County Community Foundation will become the recognized leader in gathering and sharing resources that benefit the community.

Why is the Foundation needed?

The Noble County Community Foundation was founded in January 2005 as a public charitable foundation to provide opportunity for residents and others to make charitable gifts and bequests to improve the quality of life and benefit activities occurring in the county and the region. We are building a permanent endowment that will be used to support a variety of charitable programs to address the current and changing needs of local residents.

Applications For Summer 2015 Grants now being Accepted

The Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) is currently accepting applications for its Summer 2015 funding round. The summer 2015 round of applications will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the OSU Extension Office, 46049 Marietta Road, Suite 2, Caldwell, OH  43724.  Grant applications and the 2014 annual report can be found on the NCCF’s website at www.nccfohio.org or can be picked up from the Extension office. Questions should be addressed to Mike Lloyd at lloyd.4@osu.edu or by calling 740-732-5681.

Presentation of $1000 donation from Farmers and Merchants Bank to the Noble County Community Foundation on July 30, 2014.

The NCCF was pleased to have Bob Parks, President of Farmers and Merchants bank on hand at our summer meeting held on July 30th to present a $1,000 donation to the NCCF. This donation will be divided between the NCCF’s Scholarship and General funds.

2015 Noble County Community Foundation Scholarships Awarded

The Noble County Community Foundation received ten applications were for the sixth annual award of the Noble County Community Foundation Scholarship. Award winners were announced as part of the Noble County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet held at Noble County Community Center on March 19, 2015. Seven hundred fifty dollar scholarships were awarded to each student.
The Shenandoah High School award winner was Haley Rossiter. Rossiter is a 2013 graduate of Shenandoah and is currently a sophomore chemistry major at the College of Wooster. Haley hopes to continue her academic career by attending medical school. Haley is the daughter of James and Kacie Rossiter.
Maria Warren is the Caldwell High School award recipient. Maria is a 2013 graduate of Caldwell and is majoring in bilolgy/per-dental at Nova Southeastern University. Maria is the daughter of Randy and Alicia Warren of Dexter City.
The NCCF Scholarship is funded via an endowment fund. $8,500 in scholarships have been awarded to twelve students since the first awards were made in 2010.
